Celebrating Local Makers at Stonyford Estate

cocktail_party_01.jpg

On the first real chill of October, we gathered at Stonyford Estate to celebrate local makers with the team from West Elm. Together, in the stunning 19th century mansion restored by photography duo House of Brinson, we cozied up by the fire, enjoyed seasonal cocktails created by Laura Silverman, and met with friends new and old.

As guests entered through grand doors flanked by Hops Petunia floral arrangements, they were ushered into the beautiful foyer, where candles flickered and conversations between like minded creatives filled the room.

We couldn’t have imagined a more festive setting to celebrate the talent found in the areas north of the city. Events like these allow us to to bring people together who may not have an occasion to meet otherwise, expanding the community we feel so lucky to be apart of. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us. Read below to learn about some of the upstate creatives who contributed to this event. #kindredspirits

Piles of sliced vegetables and artisanal cheese were laid on top of marble slabs in this beautiful corner of Stonyford’s living room. We were especially excited to serve cheese from Vulto Creamery based in the Walton, NY.
