Dewitt Oak Hill
Just an 8-mile drive from the Drive-In, Dewitt Oak Hill is a beautiful boutique B&B set on the banks of the Catskill Creek. Dating back to 1865, owners Diane Ormrod and Dorothée Walliser spent all of last year restoring the building and filling it with antiques from their business French & Scouser, nearly all of which is for sale.

Where to Eat

Heather Ridge Farm
If you choose to stay over in the area, this is our top recommendation for your Sunday brunch. The working farm, just 15 miles from the Drive-In, is also a cafe serving up some of the best brunch in the state, with meat and poultry sourced from their land and produce from neighboring purveyors. Sit outdoors overlooking the Catskill Mountains and drink in that late summer air.

Gaskins
Perfect for your Sunday dinner on the way home! Gaskins is a lively restaurant in Germantown with a seasonally-changing menu of classic American dishes where ingredients from nearby farms shine. Although it has been open for just over a year, Gaskins has quickly become one of the Hudson Valley’s preferred meeting spots to feast, celebrate, and drop by for a friendly drink.

I U Tripp Antiques and Collectibles
Sure to be your new favorite spot for antique scavenging, I U Tripp offers an assortment of antiques and collectibles in an authentic 1888 general store listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Be sure to wander down the main street of Oak Hill after your shopping excursion!

2 Note Botanical Perfumery
If you make your way to Hudson, be sure to visit 2 Note Botanical Perfumery, a small-batch perfumery that also sells an incredible assortment of bath and body products. We swear by the stuff!
Whenever we visit Hudson, we also make sure to stop into Red Chair for their beautiful collection of french antiques, and Hawkins, NY, for their modern tableware, furniture, and accessories. Mostly, we like to wander the side streets and alleyways to peer at the homes, some restored, some covered in a stunning patina of time.
