We are so excited to announce our first annual Holiday Pop-Up in NYC! Located in The Hudson Company’s gorgeous showroom in The Flatiron District, our weekend long shop will bring our blog to life with a collection of our favorite upstate makers. Complete with festive floral installations and scattered events throughout the weekend, the pop-up will celebrate a talented group of designers we have come to admire over the course of our travels north. Let us be your guide as you shop the best of The Hudson Valley and The Catskills in the heart of Manhattan!

The Hudson Company is a FSC® Certified custom mill specializing in wood flooring, paneling, and beams. Clients including The Whitney Museum, Patagonia, Rag & Bone, 1 Hotel and many private residences. The Hudson Company’s wood products are handmade and custom milled in Pine Plains and their new Flatiron showroom offers a glimpse into the detailed work that goes into designing and fabricating premium wood surfaces.

Hand-poured and finished in the town of Treadwell, New York, Greentree Home Candle creates a vast collection of sculptural candles using 100% pure North American beeswax and natural cotton wicks. From textured tapers to vintage bottle pillars to earthy jumbo pine cones, owner Jen Green’s candle line is one of our absolute favorites, distinctive for its rich color palette and unique designs inspired by the natural beauty of the Catskills.

New York Heartwoods was established out of owner Megan Offner’s love of forests, passion for quality craftsmanship, and desire to create environmental and economic solutions for her community. Located in Kingston, New York, Megan fabricates timeless, durable wood furniture, and custom designs that honor and value the life of trees.

Bespoke lighting company Stone and Sawyer is the combined brilliance of designers and artists Julian Peploe and David Ryan. Paying meticulous attention to craftsmanship and quality, each stoneware lamp is designed and hand-produced using locally-sourced materials and meant to be placed in the home as a functional work of art.

Reliquary Studio is a full service design/build firm focused on creating beautifully handcrafted and purposefully designed objects and environments. Relocated from Brooklyn’s Industry City to a solar powered farm in the Hudson Valley, designer Matt Hogan is a wealth of sustainable construction knowledge and possesses the techniques required to take on all kinds of custom projects, from gorgeous loft swings and bar tops to soft maple desks and floating vanities.

Based in Albany, New York, Joanna Mahserdijian is the owner of Upstate Rug Supply, offering carefully selected antique and vintage rugs from all over the world. Intended to warm both the home and the heart, each rug in Joanna’s curated collection is a unique work of art and most definitely a conversation piece.

Drawing from early Nordic traditions, Hetta Glögg combines fruits and spices to create an aromatic wine best shared hot with friends. Bottled in Rhinebeck, New York, creator Darren Davidowich, will be sharing his Hetta Glögg with a modern American twist.
