Two Years Launched: Celebrating the And North Community
As I sit down to write our 112th blog post, I am taken aback by the amount of beautiful memories we’ve accumulated over the past two years. From the friends we’ve made in unexpected locations, to lighthouse dinners on The Hudson, to aimless drives down dirt roads on the hunt for the next special spot, it is amazing to me that a blog so based in the digital sphere has created an opportunity for so many real life experiences. Experiences that, for me, are some of the most meaningful to date.
Above all, we are most thankful for the community that we have had the honor to share our adventures with and who, in turn, inspire us with their own discoveries. When we gaze at the #andnorth feed on Instagram, we are constantly surprised by the diversity in content — from scenes of local shops, to Adirondack hikes, to quiet slices of upstate living, each one adding to the tapestry of upstate vibrancy. We have collected a few of our favorite images from the past year, contributed by the community we have grown so fond of.
Thank you to everyone who made this past year possible: Our fantastic contributors who donate their time and talent, the And North team members who add their innovative ideas and passion to the site everyday, and to all of you for following along as we attempt to show why Upstate New York lures us in and captivates us each time we head north.
